The Sara’s Wish Foundation Generously Supports Health and Safety Programming at The Forum on Education Abroad.
The Sara’s Wish Foundation grants are available to help organizations and individuals meet their education abroad health and safety objectives. Applications for funding are available for the following Forum on Education Abroad events and professional development programs.

Activities Supported by The Sara’s Wish Foundation:
Professional Certification – Forum Fellows. The Sara’s Wish has generously provided funds that allow individuals from under resourced colleges and universities such as HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), Hispanic Serving Institutions, and Tribal Colleges and Universities.
Health and Safety Institute Attendance Grant. This annual institute is a mini conference focused exclusively on health and safety in education abroad. Senior risk managers and education abroad directors attend this 1.5-day conference to share best practices and develop new protocols to respond to the health and safety needs of students travelling abroad. Deadline to apply: April, 2023 Pre-conference workshop grant on Health & Safety. Prior to each conference, The Forum offers workshops based on the Standards of Good Practice focused on Health, Safety and Well-Being. Support for 5 individuals to register for pre-conference workshops at $300 each for a total gift of $1500. Deadline to apply: February 15, 2023
Travel Grants for the Health and Safety Institute for individuals from under resourced organizations such as HBCUs, HSIs, MSIs, and Community Colleges up to $800 per person totaling $2375
