Competency Credentials

Foundations of Good Practice Competency Fundamentals of Student Preparation and Risk Management Competency Principles of Program Development and Administration Competency

The Forum’s new Competency Credentials are designed for experienced education abroad professionals and those new to the field. They provide advanced professional training, based on the Standards of Good Practice. Each Competency Credential demonstrates that you have done more than attend workshops; it signifies that you are able to articulate and apply the Standards in context.

Competency Credentials are earned by attending the two workshops associated with the credential and successfully completing the accompanying Standards Assignments. Assignments are challenging and have practical applications in your current and future positions. Highly-qualified, trained Forum Certification Assessors with expertise in the Standards review completed assignments and provide valuable feedback.
