Application for Graduate Student Volunteer Opportunity

Graduate student volunteer stands behind the Forum conference registration table and hands nametag to conference attendeeThe Forum is pleased to make available a limited amount of volunteer opportunities to assist graduate students who may have difficulty paying to attend The Forum’s Annual Conference.  The purpose of the Annual Conference Graduate Student Volunteer Opportunity is to offer a complimentary registration to applicants who commit to volunteering 8 or more hours at the conference. Volunteers will assist Forum staff with tasks such as preparing conference items, checking in attendees, and greeting and directing participants throughout the venue.

Eligibility:

Full-time graduate students are eligible to apply, and proof of enrollment or class load are required.

Volunteer Expectations:

Recipients of this opportunity are expected to work 8 or more hours during the week of the conference, with at least half of the hours being worked during conference hours of Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. When not volunteering, volunteers are free to attend events and sessions of the conference. The Forum reserves the right to invoice for the cost of full registration if all volunteer hours are not met, but any conference events attended.

Deadline:

Applications must be received no later than December 16, 2022. Opportunities are limited, and all applicants may not be selected. Any applicants not selected will be able to register at the current rate.
