MenuVania Berríos (Valparaiso, Chile) has taught international students in Chilean universities and study abroad programs for over a decade.
First teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, in recent years she has focused on designing and teaching courses on Migration and Interculturality. Because of her family experiences, studies and life choices, she has always been working and living between cultures. In 2007, she moved to Germany to pursue a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Communication Studies which she completed in 2013. After leading several workshops on intercultural learning, she has refined her skills in developing intercultural competences in her study abroad students and making them question the construction of “identity” in such a globalized world.
