MenuTricia Todd, M.P.H. is the Director of the Pre-Health Student Resource Center at the University of Minnesota and an instructor in the School of Public Health. She is responsible for the Administrative oversight the Center that serves the UM system and over 10,000 people a year. She leads the creation of new educational programming and was the lead designer for the Global Ambassadors for Patient Safety online educational module open access tool that gets used by over 7,000 users a year. Tricia along with her staff in the PHSRC have developed three global seminars: The Global Future Physician (India), Global Health in Thailand: Humans, Elephants and Disease, and Health in the Tropics: Humans, Animals and Ecosystems. This year with her guidance, the PHSRC has initiated a system-wide task force to identify, reduce and eliminate barriers for students historically under-represented in the health professions and to identify and deliver the support and resources they need for successful matriculation into a health profession. Tricia also serves on the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility Leadership Team.
