MenuRenee G. Rivers holds an M.A. in English from SUNY Brockport and 33 credits in German language and culture via the Goethe-Institut-Muenchen and teaches First-Year and Travel Writing at Arizona State University at the West Campus, where she also serves as a Study Abroad Faculty Director.
Renee’s writings have appeared in: PBS Filmmaker Jillian Robinson’s Change Your Life Through Travel, Canyon Voices, Tupelo Quarterly Review and The Feminist Wire and have won international awards from SouthWest Writers and Tin House.
Renee currently writes about teaching in remote Alaskan villages and taking her father in a wheelchair to Mount Everest.
