Melissa Vivian is Global Experiences’ Director of Academic Internships, developing custom programs with university and colleges. She is a licensed mental health counselor with a Master’s degree from New York University, and has been working in higher education for 10 years, counseling, teaching and supervising students’ internships in New York City and London. Previously, she was the Global Experiences European Placement and London Program Director. She led the implementation of the Strengths-based Career Development program and has been a lead creative influence on how to engage millennial students in self-awareness and employability-enhancing activities during their internships. Her own Top 5 Gallup Strengths are Communication, Maximizer, Adaptability, Woo and Achiever.

The Forum on Education Abroad is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization for Education Abroad. The Forum on Education Abroad is hosted by its strategic partner, Dickinson College.
