Dr. Potts is the Director of the Personal Financial Planning Program of the Department of Finance and Law in the College of Business Administration. He holds a J.D. from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law SchoolWestern Michigan University Cooley Law School and a B.G.S. from the University of Michigan. He received Central Michigan University’s Lorrie Ryan Memorial AwardCMU’s 2021 Excellence in Teaching. His core value of teaching includes fostering a sense of community while creating a welcoming environment to provide a richer experience for students.

The Forum on Education Abroad is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization for Education Abroad. The Forum on Education Abroad is hosted by its strategic partner, Dickinson College.
