Madalina Akli is an Associate Director of Global Engagement and works on international programs and partnerships. Previously, she worked at Rice University as Assistant Director of Fellowships and Undergraduate Research. Madalina has a Ph.D. from Rice University and studied in Romania, France, Belgium, and the USA; she started her career as a university professor and taught all levels of French language, literature, and culture.

The Forum on Education Abroad is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization for Education Abroad. The Forum on Education Abroad is hosted on Dickinson College's campus.
