MenuKate Lang is Associate Professor and Chair of the History Department at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She holds a Ph.D. in medieval Islamic history from the University of Chicago. She has been a recipient of National Endowment for the Humanities grants to fund professional development in Global History for K-12 teachers and public programming on immigration to the upper Midwest. Her current research examines Arab-American communities in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
