Jodi Malmgren is Director of Education Abroad for the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She has twelve years of experience in international education, managing education abroad programs, working with faculty, and advising students. She earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Political Science and French from St. Olaf College. In addition to her experience in international education, she has taught political science as an adjunct instructor at three institutions.

Jodi was a Fulbright IEA grant recipient in 2008 and traveled to Japan with colleagues in international education from across the U.S. Her favorite international experience was traveling to Israel in 2009 and visiting Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem, but her favorite place in the world is the North Shore of Lake Superior!
