MenuHana Cervinkova is a cultural anthropologist (PhD, New School for Social Research, 2004), an Associate Professor of Anthropology and Education and the founding director of the International Institute for the Study of Culture and Education (IISCE) at the University of Lower Silesia in Wroclaw, Poland. She is the Director of the Syracuse University Study Abroad Program, the Culture and Politics of Reconciliation in Central Europe. She is the author of many articles and books that focus on transformation processes in Central Europe with particular focus on education, democratic citizenship and urban space.
