MenuGabriele Weber Bosley is Director of International Programs and Professor of Global Languages and Cultures at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. In her role as the University’s chief international officer, she is leading all campus wide international initiatives, including the most recent QEP/SACS initiative.
She designed and implemented Bellarmine’s Foreign Languages/International Studies Degree, a Minor in International Studies, and founded and chaired the FLIS (Foreign Languages and International Studies) Department until 2008. She is the founding Director of Bellarmine’s International Programs Office, and has been serving in that capacity since 1995, is the recipient of numerous regional and national grants and awards, and a regular presenter at NAFSA, FORUM, EAIE, AIEA, CIEE, ISEP, et. al. She currently serves on the boards of various regional, national and international education associations. Her research and publications focus on intercultural education, curriculum development and foreign language acquisition. She is President of Hemming & Weber Consulting, LLC, which provides intercultural consulting services to educational institutions.
