MenuDr. Gajurel has been a lecturer at Tribhuvan University for more than 20 years and has helped to teach numerous field geoscience courses to Nepali and international students.
He has a PhD in sedimentology and geochemistry from Université Joseph Fourier in France and was a Fulbright Scholar at Cornell University in 2012-13. His research interests lie in using sedimentology and geochemistry to better understand climate history and past depositional environments. He is also active in GPS/GNSS research of ground surface movement and geohazards education and mitigation.
