About This Webinar

Italy is experiencing a record Semester in terms of numbers of students coming from North America to spend a study period in the Italian Peninsula.

The Italian authorities are monitoring the steady flow of foreign students, faculty and staff coming from non-EU countries, particularly the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, Brazil and Israel. Consequently, the Italian government has been, and will continue to, investigate the legal and tax status of foreign educational institutions.

The purpose of this virtual meeting is to provide an overview of the ongoing oversight by Italian authorities, explain the key rules to be followed to safely and legitimately operate in Italy, and possibly answer to follow-up questions.

What You Will Gain and How

  • Anticipate how regulatory oversight may affect your students, on-site staff and faculty, organization, and how to prepare.
  • Learn how the oversight of foreign educational institutions is carried out.
