The Forum’s Standards provide a means to assess and ensure quality in all areas of education abroad programming – academic programming, student conduct, resources and personnel and policies and procedures. Using the Standards as well as the Guidelines for Undergraduate Health-Related Program Abroad as benchmarks, participants will examine practices at their universities or organizations. This workshop will be highly interactive, drawing on case studies specific to concerns of educators working with undergraduate health programs. This qualifies as a Forum Certification Workshop.

Facilitators: Natalie Mello (The Forum on Education Abroad), Jessica Evert (Child Family Health International), Cynthia Toms-Smedley (Westmont College), and Tricia Todd (University of Minnesota Health Careers Center)
