About the Workshop
The Framing the Standards of Good Practice Workshop provides an understanding of the 6th edition of the Standards, its structure, and how to use it within all contexts of education abroad.
The following four Guiding Principles that provide the foundation of the 6th edition are emphasized:
• Mission & Goals
• Collaboration & Transparency
• Ethics
• Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Who Should Attend This Workshop?
We encourage everyone in education abroad to take this foundational course to better prepare you for your day-to-day work.
How You’ll Benefit
Through a variety of interactive activities using case studies and problem-solving scenarios, you’ll understand the evolution of the Standards of Good Practice, discuss the importance of the Guiding Principles and learn how to apply them.
Note: If you are enrolled in the Professional Certification in Education Abroad Program or you’ll like to begin your Professional Certification journey, this workshop will count towards Module 1.
