This four hour workshop is designed around the importance of recognizing that preparation is critical to the process of managing an emergency of any sort. Facilitators will underscore the importance of an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) being flexible, adaptive, resilient and current. Participants will be given opportunities to identify strategies to engage with others across the organization to create a responsive and adaptive EAP; consider and articulate the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders (including foreign partners); and, identify strategies to communicate expectations and responsibilities of students and their families.
