When We Do See Color: Ending Global Racism, Part 5

Join us on International Women’s Day for an intimate conversation which spans 30 years and two continents of academic and professional engagement in international education with world renowned African Feminist scholar, Dr. Patricia McFadden and Kebokile Dengu-Zvobgo, Associate Dean of International Programs at Pitzer College in conversation with Dr. Keshia Abraham. The discussion will be influenced by their knowledge and experience of regional transformations in Southern Africa, Brazil and the US (primarily), especially with regard to race, class and gender, and how these intersections impact international education when we do see color. We will continue to demonstrate and suggest strategies to consider as we all work to put an end to global racism through intentionally equitable engagement in international education and beyond.
