This workshop focuses on integrating the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals into the development and delivery of education abroad programs. Guided by exercises, informed by active discussion, participants will design effective strategies for addressing the global challenges of realizing a more sustainable future for all. 

Workshop participants will:

• Understand the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals and their connections to various aspects of education abroad.
• Be able to use the sustainability-related Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad and related guidelines to guide decision-making around education abroad.
• Propose specific ways of integrating the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals into new or existing faculty-led education abroad programs.
• Share resources for enhancing sustainability in program content, execution, and in support of institutional planning.
