The Forum’s Competency Credentials are designed for experienced education abroad professionals and those new to the field. Each Competency Credential provides advanced professional training, based on the 5th edition of the Standards of Good Practice, and demonstrates that you are able to articulate and apply the Standards in context.
Competency Credentials are earned by attending the two workshops associated with the credential and successfully completing the accompanying Standards Assignments. Assignments are challenging and have practical applications in your current and future positions. Highly-qualified, trained Forum Certification Assessors review completed assignments and provide valuable feedback.
Upon completion, a digital badge is issued describing the skills confirmed by the credential. The digital badge can be displayed on websites, social media, digital resumes, and a variety of other digital platforms. Your accomplishment will also be listed on The Forum’s website.
The Forum’s Competency Credentials stand on their own or can be stacked toward the full Professional Certification in Education Abroad.
