19th Annual Conference Proposals

  • ATTENTION:

Conference registration costs are the responsibility of each presenter. Presenters must register for the Annual Conference by the early-bird deadline in December.

Virtual presentations will be recorded. By presenting at any of The Forum’s virtual events, you grant The Forum on Education Abroad permission to broadcast, reproduce, distribute, and sell the session recording and all session materials. Presenters also agree not to share session recordings on other platforms.

As part of The Forum’s effort to increase accessibility of conference content for attendees, we will ask that all presenters in accepted proposals 1) submit session materials (slides, handouts, etc.) in advance, and 2) take simple steps to make their session materials accessible (instructions will be provided).

Presenters defend and hold The Forum on Education Abroad harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, suits, causes of action, liabilities or expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from any allegation or claim that their presentation content infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Would you like your proposal to also be considered for another type of Forum event?

We are only able to offer a certain number of conference sessions, so allowing us to consider your proposal for other program types will increase the chance that it is accepted. If you choose “No”, your submission may be declined without the option of changing the type later.
The hallmark of Forum events is dialogue. Regardless of session format, it is expected that all sessions will stimulate discussion.

  • ATTENTION

Proposals will be reviewed in a blind process. It is important that you only provide identifying information, such as institution names or names of presenters, in the fields specifically requesting this information. The Forum reserves the right to reject proposals that include identifying information in fields where it is not requested.

Please double-check spelling and grammar prior to submitting. The text entered on the proposal form will be used on our website if your proposal is accepted. Errors may carry through into the final program if your proposal is accepted.

  • See the Resources for Virtual Presentations in the Proposal Guidelines packet for ideas.

  • Presenter Information

Please note that a maximum of 4 presenters may be included on a proposal. All presenters included on the proposal will receive a copy of the proposal once submitted.
  • Please enter a number less than or equal to 4.
